Let’s Dance! This week’s Superfriends post is on this stellar mix by S.K Bass.

Do you like the bassline? I sure do. This had me dancing around in my chair. S.K Bass brings the bass like no other. She sought out the best of the best in bassline for this mix. As usual , great mixing style and all the right vocals to make it even more catchy! Awesome build ups and drops all throughout!!

What can I say? I love festivals. This year’s installment of Superfriends will be a full fledged festival on May long weekend on Vancouver Island, BC

I have decided that every Sunday, I will pick some music or mixes from someone on the line up! I will show you the old and the new! This is not a party you will want to miss! First things first, check out one of my all time favourite mixes made by Christoph Maitland. Passion is prog house at it’s finest. The thing I really like about this mix is all the lush vocals and relaxing sounds. I love every track and that can be a rare occasion in house mixes for me. Who doesn’t love a mix that includes Way out West though?!? 

Anyways if you’re just having a lazy Sunday like I am, just make another tea and turn this on. 

Check this brand new mix by one of my local faves, Gumbootz!

This mix is filled with that ghetto funk flavour that a lot of my friends have grown to love! Many of my favourite mixes have been delivered by Gumbootz and this another to add to that collection!

Filled with classic songs (Like Unbelievable) remixed into dance floor - booty shaker sounds. Catchy vocals, suspenseful drops, and funked our basslines throughout this lovely mix!

If you’re a lover of breaks and have not heard of Myagi, then you’re probably living under a rock. Actually.. you’re probably in the deepest part of earth because even rocks love Myagi.

The first time I saw Myagi play in a club was actually in thanks to some shitty music! A friend and I were supposed to go another friend’s birthday at some lame top 40 meat market bar. Anyways, we were waiting in line and could hear the music and were dreading making it to the door. We decided to give up and head to Hush Nightclub. 

We ended up hearing some pretty amazing beats being pounded out by Myagi. Ever since I have become a huge fan of his music. 

On his remix resume, this breakbeat guru includes the likes of the Crystal Method, Soul of Man, Orbital and more! (I seriously can’t get enough the remix of Halcyon and On and On)

Needless to say, I was pretty stoked when he released this mix. Even more so as I began to listen to it. Don’t sit while you listen to this one because it is filled with tracks that will make you want to dance around!!

Check out this wonderful little mix whipped up by WesBeanz. Starting us off with sweet midtempo chilled beats. Throw in some dub and moombaton and you have yourselves a killer mix! Filled with sounds that bring you visions of winter and all the fun that comes with it! As usual Wes’s mixing style does not fail to impress and the track selection and flow gives the perfect impression of those snowy days to come.
